Children and All-Age Opportunities

This is Tilly. She is sassy, and strong willed and 8-and-a-half years old, and lets be honest – she ’s been doing origami for about 3 weeks – but she is super pumped to make origami ‘Butterflies for Peace’ this weekend because she loves crafting and thinks that war is super lame. Tilly painstakingly honed her butterfly making skills in about 5mins one day at school and now she wants to teach you — and you know she will! Come be charmingly badgered into origami activism at ‘Butterflies for Peace’ and help Tilly (and Pearl) make 1000 butterflies across the course of the weekend.

There are also lots of other great things to do because let’s face it, otherwise Tilly would be bored.

There’s face painting and circus games, a dedicated arts and craft marquee; there are percussion workshops , paper cutting workshops with @paper_pearl; there are wandering storytellers @em.chandler.stories and face painting!

There is Mob teaching cultural dance, and painting people in neon paint to dance under black light! #neonngargee @one.cat.herder

There is a bit of gardening to do, a kirtan to sing in, drama workshops to be silly in, a labyrinth to walk in, damper to roast over the fire, a games workshop and origami butterflies to make, and music and poetry to watch all day!

Bring the family!  It’s gonna be super fun! Tilly said so.

Children under 15 are free with their adult ticket holders.
