Planning is underway and the program is unfolding! Keep your eyes on this page for all the info for May 2-4, 2025!
Sacrededge is our response to a sometimes harsh and fearful world. It is an opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Rather than debate and argue about issues Q&A style, this unique festival listens to people from the edge… their stories, music, poetry.
Our presenters, artists & performers come from a range of backgrounds – First Nations, Refugee, LGBTIQA+ folk, Carers for the Earth and Ocean. They are the voices from the edge who are vulnerable and not normally heard.
With a bunch of people from different spiritual traditions and none, people who love stories, justice, ideas, music and the arts, community is created.
Sacrededge is a lived experience of how we can treasure each other in all our glorious diversity and find our hearts and minds expanded and enriched.
What People Say about Sacrededge...
Here are some comments from previous festivals:
Wowsers, what a festival!!
Kerryn Fields, Presenter.
There is no other single event that has had such a transformative impact on us and we would not miss it. To have an opportunity to meet those beyond our experience changes us in ways we could not have imagined.
Don and Helen Bartlett, Participants
I wanted to deeply thankyou for this weekend. It was such a beautifully filling time for me as well as pouring out. I really loved it. … I think everyone was really moved by it. THANKYOU!!!
Joel McKerrow, presenter.
I was moved by the deep sense of community created by the festival, and how attendees brought a genuine desire to inquire and learn. … (One participant…) said the festival “felt like a hug”. What a wonderful space to have created for people at such a challenging time in our collective histories.
Isabelle Tolhurst, Participant.
Thank you for all your magnificent work for Sacred Edge. Your vision and commitment are truly profound. We are all the richer for being part of the weekend. I learnt so much, and feel quite restored. I know many people contribute to the success of such events, we are indeed blessed. Thanks again, it truly was a celebration. -Maryann Brown
